Biography
John E. Richards
John E. Richards honed his managerial skills by operating a small, dynamic company in the Seattle, Washington
area after earning a degree in chemistry from Brigham Young University. After several successes
- and a few failures - John is a professional full-time faculty member at BYU serving as an associate professor teaching
courses in entrepreneurial management, e-business strategy, and management consulting (he remains an active
practitioner in each of these areas as well). His experience ranges from serving as president of his own privately
held corporation to being part of the team that took a company public on the NASDAQ stock market achieving
a multi-billion dollar market capitalization and a company with over 1,500 employees.
